Why it helps

Track what you play. Discover what fits.

Checkpointr connects tracking, discovery, community, lists, activity, recommendations, and player taste around the games you play or want to play.

The more you track, save, review, list, like, play, and follow, the more useful your profile becomes for understanding your taste and finding the next game that fits.

  • Track your whole gaming life, from Steam, GOG, Epic, console, handheld, mobile, emulator, retro, physical collections, and wherever else you play.
  • Create checkpoints for progress, sessions, notes, platforms, scores, and status.
  • Build lists for backlogs, favorites, collections, replay plans, wishlists, and themed picks.
  • Discover games through activity, recommendations, reviews, lists, groups, and similar taste.

FAQ

Good to know

What is Checkpointr?

Checkpointr is a game discovery and tracking app for players. You can track games, create checkpoints, build lists, follow friends, join groups, write reviews, track prices, and discover what to play next.

Is Checkpointr just another backlog app?

No. You can use it as a game backlog tracker, but Checkpointr also connects progress tracking, recommendations, friends, groups, reviews, lists, stats, and price tracking around the games you care about.

Can I track games outside Steam?

Yes. Checkpointr is for players who play anywhere: Steam, GOG, Epic, console, handheld, mobile, emulator, retro, physical collections, and beyond. Steam can add context where supported, but it is not the only way to track games.

Can I connect Steam?

Yes. You can connect Steam to import your library, keep platform context on your profile, and track playtime automatically where supported.

How does discovery work?

Discovery improves as you track games, save games, write reviews, build lists, follow players, and interact with activity. Checkpointr uses those signals to make recommendations and social discovery more relevant.

What are checkpoints?

Checkpoints are quick game logs for progress, sessions, notes, platforms, scores, and status. They help you remember what happened and make your profile more useful over time.

What can I do with lists?

Make a backlog, favorites list, replay plan, wishlist, collection, or themed set of picks. Lists help organize what you own, what you love, and what you may want to play later.

What are groups?

Groups are smaller spaces for players around games, genres, lists, goals, and shared interests. They give community activity a more focused place than one large feed.

What do the stats show?

Stats can show your checkpoints, playtime where supported, completions, quests, reviews, and broader activity over time. They are meant to explain your habits, not turn gaming into admin work.

Can I track game prices?

Yes. Checkpointr can follow supported Steam prices for games you care about and send price-drop alerts. Always verify final price, currency, taxes, and availability in the store before buying.

Is Checkpointr free?

Yes. The app is free to use. Core features such as tracking, discovery, lists, friends, groups, recommendations, reviews, checkpoints, and the main app experience are not planned to require Premium.

What does Premium include?

Premium is planned as cosmetic only. It may include profile customization, visual themes, badges, or similar non-essential perks. Core tracking and discovery features are not planned to require Premium.

What happens to my data?

Checkpointr uses the data needed for the service to work, such as account, profile, game, activity, social, purchase, diagnostic, and notification data. Personal data is not sold. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.

Will there be an iOS version?

Yes. Limited Android and iOS beta places are available while we prepare Checkpointr for wider launch.
